The National Black Doulas Association's Cross Training Program is a comprehensive two-day training designed to empower doulas with the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional care to Black and Brown birthing families. Participants will delve into essential topics, including the rich history of Black doulas, holistic approaches to maternal health, postpartum care, and doula business fundamentals. This program presents a unique opportunity to enhance your expertise and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve, while also gaining the credentials necessary to bill for services under various insurance programs. What is Cross Training?

The NBDA Cross Training Program is a specialized track that allows doulas who have completed previous training with other organizations to become NBDA Certified. This program honors your foundational knowledge while bridging the gap with NBDA’s culturally competent, advocacy-driven, and evidence-based doula framework.
