The NBDA Placenta Encapsulation Doula Training prepares doulas and birth workers to safely, ethically, and professionally provide placenta encapsulation services to families. This training centers education, safety, informed consent, and cultural respect while preparing you for NBDA certification.

Placenta Encapsulation Certification
To apply for certification, trainees must complete all of the following steps within 12 months of training completion:
1. Support Four (4) Families with Placenta Encapsulation Services
Provide placenta encapsulation services for four families
Have each family complete the Client Feedback Form
In your certification application email, list the full names of each client supported
Have each family complete the Client Feedback Form

2. Complete Required Safety Trainings
You must complete the following independent trainings:
Bloodborne Pathogens Training
ServSafe (Food Safety) Training
Attach proof of completion for both trainings

3. Pay the Certification Fee
Submit payment using the provided certification payment link
Attach a copy of your payment receipt to your certification application email

4. Submit Your Certification Application Email
Once all requirements are complete, send an email to: Hello@blackdoulas.org

Names of the four clients you supported
Proof of Bloodborne Pathogens Training
Proof of ServSafe Training
Attached certification payment receipt
Confirmation that all requirements have been completed
